Sörmlands Winter Trail

Distances: 43 km, 22 km and 10 km.

Start Times: 43 km 09:00, 22 km 10:00 and 10 km 11:00
Cut-Off Time: 10 hours for 43 km, 6 hours for 22 km, 3 hours for 10 km..
Timing & Results: Chip timing for all participants.
Parking & Transport: Parking is available at the start/finish area for a small fee to NGIF.
The 43 km runners complete one full lap of the Tunabergsrundan loop.
The 22 km and 10 km routes follow shorter sections of the same terrain.
Expect varied terrain including forest paths, rolling hills, and coastal landscape.
A true winter trail running experience.
Race numbers are collected at the start area (Nävekvarns IP) up to 30 minutes before your race start.
Parking is available at NGIF for a small fee.
We offer locally sourced food at all aid stations and at the finish.

Post-race food:
All runners are served hot food and cold, alcohol-free Mineral Brewing Recovery Lager at the finish.
Spectators and supporters can purchase food and drinks in the finish area.
All runners have access to the showers and bathroom facilities at Nävekvarn IP
There is several toilets along the course.
To ensure your safety, all participants must carry the following compulsory kit:
- Fully charged phone (with race director’s number saved)
- Windproof jacket
- Thermal base layer
- Hat and gloves
- Water bottle or hydration pack (minimum 500 ml)
- Emergency whistle
- Trail running shoes with good grip
- Survival blanket
- Headlamp if you expect to finish after dark (sunset approx. 16:30).
  Note: trail times can be 50–75% slower than road running.
Bad Weather Kit:
Required if conditions warrant it (confirmed in the race PM 7 days before race day):
- Light down jacket
- Waterproof trousers
- Spare thermal top and leggings
- Extra warm gloves and socks
- Trail shoes with spikes or additional traction aids

- Race bib with electronic chip timing
- Aid stations with hot food and hot drinks

Your registration is binding and will not be refunded, you also agree that your name, start number, age, photos from the race, start time and finish time are published on the internet and possibly other social media platforms. Please note that participation is at your own risk.

As always, participation is at your own risk. Given that this race takes place in the heart of winter, the demands on you as a participant are even higher. It is crucial that you are confident in your ability to face the challenges of a race like this. Ensure you bring the necessary energy and resources for a winter event of this nature, and follow all rules, including having the required equipment.
